Fuel EX and Fuel+ EX

With 29” wheels and 145/150 mm (rear/front) travel, EX is the classic configuration. Riders get the most efficient pedalling and most balanced handling – making it the right bike for the widest variety of riders and terrain. That’s why most Fuel and Fuel+ bikes will come standard as Fuel EX.

Better geometry

The new Fuel and Fuel+ come in five sizes dialled to fit any rider – from tiny to tall. We’ve simplified the line by removing the ML size, re-distributing the spread of the other sizes to better fit more riders with fewer sizes, while keeping size-specific geometry and chainstays for a better ride, whatever your height. We’ve also modernised our stack height by using taller head tubes on larger sizes, raising the front end of the bike up so taller riders get more comfort and control without having to run a stack of spacers or high-rise bars.

ZS standard headset

The Fuel and Fuel+ now use the ZS internal headset standard to allow for more aftermarket options like angle-adjust headsets or shiny colours.

Leverage rate adjust

Riders can tweak leverage rate with the flip of a chip. Go less-progressive for a plusher feel or more-progressive for big features, more bottom-out resistance or running a coil shock.

Load up, roll out

Stash ride essentials with in-frame storage on all Fuel* models – both carbon and alloy. Plus, top tube accessory mounts on Fuel and Fuel+ let you load up even more.

The Fuel+ EX 8 is a quiet and composed electric mountain bike built for tackling any trail. It all starts out with an Alpha NEXT Platinum aluminium frame that gives you a smooth boost thanks to TQ's HPR-60 motor. A Fox Performance suspension package (145 mm rear, 150 mm front) keeps handling confident in the rough, while SRAM's Eagle 70 transmission delivers the smooth-shifting advantage of T-Type at a pocket-friendly price. It's all wrapped up with 4-piston SRAM DB 8 hydraulic disc brakes for stopping power on the steeps.
